Every system is surveyed, planned and installed by engineers with more than six years of hands-on rooftop installation experience.
Panels, inverter, mounting structure, cabling, earthing and protection devices — all from established brands, in the correct specification and quantity.
A sturdy structure and quality components keep your plant generating reliably for the long term, not just the first three or four years.
Brands, quantities, warranties, pricing and the installation timeline are documented in writing before any payment.
Our process
Every project follows the same disciplined sequence, so you know exactly what happens next. Net-metering and subsidy approvals rest with your DISCOM and the national portal; we keep you informed at every milestone.
Our engineer surveys your roof, structure and shading, and studies your electricity bills and sanctioned load to define exactly what you need.
We plan the layout, structure design, brands and quantities, and share a written proposal with a committed installation timeline.
Our team installs everything — structure, panels, inverter, cabling and earthing — within the agreed timeline, and handles net-metering and subsidy formalities with you.
Savings begin once the plant is commissioned and the net meter installed. Our care desk remains your single point of contact.
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
Financial assistance from the Government of India for eligible residential connections — credited directly to your bank account after installation and DISCOM inspection, via the national portal.

Subsidy deadline: 31 March 2027
The PM Surya Ghar central subsidy is available only until 31 March 2027. After this date you cannot apply for the subsidy. Survey, installation, net metering and portal approval all take time — begin early to secure your benefit.
Book free assessment| System capacity | Central subsidy |
|---|---|
| 1 kW | ₹30,000 |
| 2 kW | ₹60,000 |
| 3 kW and above | ₹78,000 |
| Housing society (common facilities) | ₹18,000 per kW |
Society assistance covers common facilities including EV charging, up to 500 kW at 3 kW per household. The scheme applies to residential connections only. Installers may need to be registered on the national portal — we confirm eligibility before you place an order.
Under PM Surya Ghar, public sector banks offer collateral-free loans for residential rooftop solar, at rates determined by the bank. We assist with the bills, identity documents and proposal the bank requires. The Solarex is not a lender and charges no registration fee.
System types
The right configuration depends on grid reliability in your area and which loads must stay powered.
Ideal where grid supply is reliable and the lowest cost per unit is the priority.
Ideal where outages are frequent and essential loads must stay on.
Ideal for locations without grid access, or for backup without export.
After-sales care
A single care desk for cleaning, performance checks, inverter faults and documentation — for systems we install, and for third-party installations we are able to take on.
If generation dips, we inspect shading, soiling, wiring and the inverter to identify the cause.
Scheduled panel cleaning, particularly ahead of and during the dusty months.
Tripping, earthing and surge protection — inspected and rectified.
If an application is delayed, we help you follow up with the correct documentation.
Share your documents and a recent bill, and we will give you a candid assessment of whether we can take the system into care.
Service area
We work exclusively in Maharashtra, coordinating net metering with MSEDCL (Mahavitaran) and, in Mumbai, with Tata Power, Adani Electricity and BEST. Share your location and we will confirm site-visit availability before any commitment.

FAQs
A rooftop solar system comprises solar panels, an inverter, a mounting structure, cabling, protection devices and earthing. Together, they convert sunlight into electricity for your home or business.
Panels generate DC power from sunlight, which the inverter converts into AC power for your appliances. In an on-grid system, surplus energy is exported to the grid through a net meter, and power is drawn from the grid at night.
Exact pricing follows a site assessment. As a reference, the MNRE benchmark is ₹50,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹45,000 per kW thereafter, before subsidy. You receive equipment details and pricing in writing before any payment.
Under PM Surya Ghar, eligible homes receive ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW or more. The subsidy is released after installation and DISCOM inspection, for residential connections only. Applications can be made only until 31 March 2027. We never promise a subsidy before portal approval.
Solar can offset a substantial share of the energy charges on your bill; fixed charges and night-time usage typically remain. Our calculator provides a planning estimate — the site assessment confirms the actual figure.
It depends on your monthly consumption, shade-free roof area (roughly 100 sq ft per kW) and sanctioned load. As a guide, 1 kW generates about 4 units a day. We confirm the size after the site assessment.
Yes. Output is lower on overcast days and higher in summer; annual estimates already account for these seasonal variations.
On-grid systems shut down during outages as a safety requirement. For backup, a hybrid system with battery storage can be sized to keep your essential rooms powered.
Individual apartments rarely have dedicated roof access. Your housing society can install solar for common loads such as lifts, pumps and lighting, with the association's approval. Central assistance for societies is ₹18,000 per kW for common facilities.
A residential installation typically takes one to three working days once materials and approvals are in place. Net-metering and subsidy timelines depend on your DISCOM and the national portal.
Yes. Share a recent bill, a photo of the inverter and when the drop in output began. We will advise whether it requires cleaning, repair or redesign. Select “Service for an existing system” on the form.
During dusty months, around twice a month is advisable. Clean early in the morning or in the evening using plain water and a soft cloth or sponge — never detergent or a metal brush. Our care desk can schedule this for you.
For the site assessment: a recent electricity bill and roof access. For the subsidy: identity proof, your electricity consumer number, a bank account in the consumer's name and the photographs the portal requests. We provide a complete checklist and never ask for an OTP.
No. They are planning estimates based on your monthly units and tariff; shading, soiling, sanctioned load and DISCOM billing affect actual results. What we do commit to is a written proposal — and a candid answer if your roof is not a good fit.
